(Agri Nematode (Paecilomyces lilacinus)
Soil application & Wettable powder form

Agri Nematode is a biological fungicide based on a selective strain of the naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Paecilomyces lilacinus. The product contains mycelia fragments. The spores of this fungus act by infecting, parasitizing, and killing eggs and young adults of most phytophagous nematode species.

Mode of Action:
Conidial penetration: Paecilomyces lilacinus attaches to the host and forms a dense mycelium that produces conidiophores. These conidiophores bear phialides at their ends, from which spores are formed in long chains. The fungus then forms an appressorium (a swelling on the end of the germ tube), initiating the invasion of insects. The appressorium produces a penetration peg that enters the host's external cuticle. Inside the insect body, the fungus produces hyphae that proliferate and feed on the insect’s internal contents.

Chemical Composition:

  1. Paecilomyces lilacinus sp (1x10^8 CFUs/ml) Min - 1.50%
  2. Growth Media, Osmatic (Stabilizer Dispersal agent) - 98.50%
  3. Total - 100%
  4. Dosage:
Mix Agri Nematode at a proportion of 2-3 ml per liter of water for seed treatments, drip irrigation, or FYM. For individual plants, use 2 ml per 2 grams per liter of water and apply directly into the soil.

Benefits:

  1. Agri Nematode effectively controls economically important nematodes such as root knot nematodes, burrowing nematodes, cyst nematodes, and lesion nematodes among a wide range of crops.
  2. Helps increase productivity by controlling nematode pests.

Target Pest:
Root-knot nematode, Ramiform nematode, Cyst nematode, Golden cyst nematode, Citrus nematode, and Lesion nematode.
