(Paecilomyces fumosoroseus) - 1 x 10^8 CFUs/ml/gm
Formulation: Foliar Application & Wettable Powder
Description:
ALMIE is a biological insecticide based on a selected strain of the naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Paecilomyces fumosoroseus. It contains spore and mycelia fragments. When the spores of the fungus come in contact with the cuticle of the target pest insect, they germinate and grow directly through the spiracles in the cuticle into the inner body of the host. The fungus then proliferates throughout the insect's body, draining the nutrients and causing the insect to die.
