- (Metarhizium anisopliae) - 1 x 10^8 CFUs/ml/gm
Formulation: Foliar Application & Wettable Powder
Description:
ALMID is a biological insecticide based on a selected strain of the naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae. It contains spore and mycelia fragments of Metarhizium anisopliae. When the spores of the fungus come in contact with the cuticle of the target pest insect, they germinate and grow directly through the spiracles into the inner body of the host. The fungus then proliferates throughout the insect's body, draining its nutrients and causing the infected insects to die.
