(COD Available)
(Trichoderma viride) - Biofungicide Soil application, Foliar spray & Wettable powder form
ALDERM is a biofungicide preparation containing spores and mycelia fragments of a selected strain of antagonistic fungus, Trichoderma viride. It is a preventive biological fungicide that attacks disease-causing pathogens before they reach the root system. It grows fast, coils around the pathogen, penetrates through it, and extracts nutrients from the pathogen, causing it to die. ALDERM offers long-lasting control against pathogens by secreting secondary metabolites that exhibit an antibiosis effect on the pathogens.
Chemical Composition:
- Trichoderma viride sp (1x10^8 CFUs/ml) Minimum - 1.50%
- Growth Media, Osmatic (Stabilizer Dispersal agent) - 98.50%
- Total - 100%
Dosage:
- Mix ALDERM at the rate of 2-3 ml per liter of water.
- Mix at 10g for seed treatments, drip irrigation, or farmyard manure (FYM).
- For individual plants, use 2 ml or 2 grams per liter of water and apply directly into the soil.
Benefits:
- ALDERM controls disease-causing pathogens such as Pythium, Fusarium sp., Botrytis cinerea, and Sclerotinia homoeocarpa, which cause root rot, root wilt, seedling rot, and collar rot diseases in crops.
- Helps improve soil health.
Key Point: Trichoderma viride should not be used in mushroom cultivation because it causes diseases in mushrooms.
Application on Crops:
- Trichoderma viride is suitable for application on cereals, millets, pulses, oilseeds, fiber crops, sugar crops, forage crops, plantation crops, vegetables, fruits, spices, flowers, medicinal crops, aromatic crops, orchards, and ornamentals.
Target Diseases: Root rot of pulses, damping off of chilly seedlings, wilting, root rot disease, wilt disease, charcoal rot, and other seed-borne and soil-borne fungal diseases in crops.
