(Verticillium lecanii) - 1x10^8 CFUs/ml/gm Foliar application & Wettable Powder
ALESTRA is a biological insecticide based on a selective strain of the naturally occurring entomopathogenic fungus Verticillium lecanii. It contains spores and mycelia fragments of Verticillium lecanii. When the spores of the fungus come into contact with the cuticle of the target pest insect, they germinate and grow directly through the spiracle in the cuticle into the inner body of the host. By taking nutrients from the insect, it proliferates and colonizes the entire insect, draining it of nutrients until the infected insects die. Verticillium infects the insect on contact and does not need to be consumed by the host to cause infection.

Dosage:
- Mix ALESTRA at a proportion of 2 to 3 ml per liter of water for drip irrigation or FYM.
- For individual plants, use 2 ml per 2 grams per liter of water and apply directly into the soil.
